Welcome to the presentation of the Federal Republic of Germany at KIOGE - International Oil & Gas Exhibition 2011 in Almaty. For the Federal Republic of Germany, economic cooperation with other countries and people is important, and is the reason for Germany's participation in this event.
The prosperous oil and gas sector plays a key role in the economy of Kazakhstan. The ambitious plans to raise the country's oil and gas production, to modernise its facilities and to expand its petrochemical industry has attracted large domestic and foreign investments to the sector.
